About this day nursery

Apricot Day Nursery in St Neots offers a nurturing and intimate environment focused on early childhood education. The nursery believes in the benefits of early education for cognitive, social, and physical development, as well as fostering confidence and independence.

They employ the Montessori approach within a home-like setting, encouraging learning through play and tailoring activities to individual children's interests. The nursery operates across two sites, with a dedicated pre-school setting for older children transitioning to primary school.

Meals are prepared fresh on-site with a focus on nutrition and catering to dietary needs. They also offer a range of extra-curricular activities and clubs to enhance the learning experience, including cookery, movement, art, music, gardening, and science.

Sandhills is a lovely nursery! My son loves coming everyday. Staff are also amazing and do a brilliant job. I love how I get updates during the day on what his eaten, when his had a nappy change and also when his had his milk. Staff give very detailed handovers when I collect him so I know what he has been upto during the day. Overall I love the nursery, my son is very happy and well looked after.

Have to say my Daughter has flourished here. The staff are welcoming and friendly and my little girl loves them. Not had the best experience with my Sons previous Nursery, removed him from there as a result, but Sandhills have restored my faith and given me the confidence to be able to go back to work. Knowing my little girl is in good hands

I love this nursery, it's taken away such a worry about dropping my 1 year old off. I visited two other nursery's before Sandhills and as soon as I walked in I knew it was the one I wanted my daughter to go to. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming, they're fantastic with my little girl. We have tears at drop off still but I know she'll be fine as i have regular updates, photos and they welcome parents to ring as much as they like. A huge thank you to Emily, Lucy, Fathima & Amy in the office who I've dealt with so far since being there you've made thing so much easier! Can't wait to see my little girl grow with this nursery! x
