Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive outstanding support. The manager and special needs coordinator ensure children receive every possible resource, including support from specialist teachers and therapists on site, to help them reach their full potential.
Children with English as an additional language (EAL) receive outstanding support. They are encouraged to use their home language alongside signing to communicate with staff.
Convenient council nursery and play centre that provides solid support for the local community - including free drop in play sessions, breastfeeding classes, and also health visitor visits. The services are decent, the staff are the most helpful (e.g. the health visitors were always very informative, and encouraging). Overall the place is a tremendous council initiative.
Read on GoogleDO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD THERE especially if you have to go back to work because they will reject him even after they appoint him a place!!!! Very disappointed with their services and professionalism. They accepted my son and then told me that they will not offer him a place because they did not see him playing (!!!!!!!!!). After one taster session with dozens of parents and children and just 40 minutes into his actual classroom they expected a 2.5 years old toddler to settle but DID NOT DO ANYTHING to make him feel comfortable. They don't respond to calls or emails so had to chase them several days every time I contacted them. Eventually they ghosted me completely.
Read on GoogleVery pleased with all the services that I've received here, including the health visitor clinics and baby/children play sessions. Spacious indoor and outdoor facilities. My child is also very happy at the nursery. Very friendly teachers and good curriculum. Ofsted Rated 'Outstanding'
