Teeny Tots Day Nursery, located in Hull (HU5 5LZ), was established in June 2004 and provides full-day care for children aged 0 to 4. As a childcare on non-domestic premises setting, it has consistently achieved a "Good" overall effectiveness rating, including in its latest inspection on June 6, 2024.
The nursery prioritises children's independence, allowing older children to access resources freely and babies to explore a homely environment designed for safe movement. The dedicated team of 11 childcare staff, all qualified to at least Level 2 (with the manager holding a Level 6 qualification), ensures a nurturing atmosphere where children quickly settle and form strong attachments with their key persons.
The nursery places a high emphasis on language development, with leaders reviewing and adapting the curriculum to ensure appropriate support and specific activities to enhance children's understanding and communication. Teeny Tots Day Nursery is open all year round, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 6pm, excluding bank holidays, and offers funded early education for two, three, and four-year-old children.

Staff are very quick to respond if a child needs a cuddle or some reassurance. Children show, by their good behaviour, that they feel happy and safe.

Nursery leaders have high aspirations for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They work closely with parents and professionals to ensure that children get the additional support they need in a timely manner. Children are able to access the curriculum and continue to make progress in their learning and development.
Children learn about the positive choices that contribute to healthy lifestyles. They spend time outside where they are physically active.
