Children are welcomed by friendly and enthusiastic staff, displaying a strong sense of belonging as they independently hang their belongings on their named peg before settling into chosen play. The day nursery offers a broad curriculum, skilfully planned around themes, such as popular books and stories, encouraging children to engage with narratives and characters.

Daily outdoor learning opportunities are provided, allowing children to develop fine motor skills by moulding clay and gross motor skills through active play on a large climbing frame, safely managing risks. Children engage their imaginations with ride-on cars, pretending to drive through a 'car wash'.

The day nursery is proactive in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), offering tailor-made support and collaborating with external professionals. Staff receive specialist training to ensure they are confident in meeting individual needs.

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive tailor-made support to ensure their individual needs are met. The manager works well with other professionals, such as specialist health services, and staff receive specialist training to support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from daily opportunities to explore the outdoor learning environment. They develop muscles in their hands moulding clay and collect natural items. Children are active and have lots of opportunities to play outside each day, learning to manage risks safely and developing strength, balance and coordination on a large climbing frame, or using their imagination with ride-on cars.
