What it's like to attend

• Children are happy, confident and keen to learn and become involved in independent play.
• Babies show a sense of security in staff's care and enjoy games of peekaboo with visitors.
• The manager takes into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and incorporates it into the flexible, child-led curriculum.
• Staff encourage children to respect others, teach good manners, and develop good attention skills.
• Partnerships with parents are a distinct strength, with staff discussing children's learning and progress frequently and in detail.
• The arrangements for settling new children into nursery are highly effective, helping children to feel at ease quickly and supporting their emotional well-being.
• Children learn how to keep themselves healthy through handwashing and discussions about good nutrition.
• The manager has maintained good-quality practice since the last inspection and works to evaluate the setting to identify strengths and areas for development.
