SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well at the pre-school. Staff work effectively with parents and other relevant professionals to devise and implement individualised care and learning plans. This means that children with SEND are supported well and make good progress.

Outdoor space

Children have daily access to a well-equipped outdoor area that offers them an abundance of opportunities. For example, children develop their balance and spatial awareness using ride-on toys. They skilfully pour water down the piping, taking great care not to spill any. Children use spades to dig mud and collect water to transport to the mud kitchen to make mud soup together.

A truly outstanding Pre-school. My three children have all gone to this Pre-school and each has loved coming. Bringing home such great art work, mark making and fabulous tales about who and what they have played with. My first child struggled with speech problems, staff encouraged him throughout his time there. I joined a speech therapy course run by The Primrose children's center to help understand and guide my child properly. My last child is still currently attending and is enjoying it thoroughly. The balance of work though play is super. Your doing a great job, keep it up.

Fabulous pre-school, my son has attended for just over 12 months now and settled in instantly. The staff are warm, caring and supportive. They provide an extremely happy and relaxed environment for the children to learn through play, outdoor play is also encouraged whatever the weather which my son loves. I am reassured when I leave him at pre-school that he will be safe and very well cared for, he is very happy here. Thank you SVP.

Pre-school should be a pleasant experience when sending your children. It certainly wasn't the case here. Don't be fooled. Apparently you state strict terms & conditions apply when accepting a funded place. It's little kids we are talking about not a double glazing contract. It's all about labelling them if they don't meet your criteria. We can only go on our experience but we would never send another child to Pre-school you couldn't wait to get the speech therapists involved & the inclusion team in order to receive INCLUSION TOP UP FUNDING. Labelling kids when they have speech delay is wrong. However if you are somehow favoured by the committee you & your little ones may have a better experience. Our children are making fantastic progress now they have been taken out.

Excellent Pre-School with lovely, caring staff. All my children have attended here and couldn't really ask for a better experience. Helped introduce them to other Pre-Schoolers in the local area so they knew many of their class mates when starting school.

Very average nursery & staff. Not had a good experience with this place. It's not about play, it's about grading & labelling & everything been to a text book. Kids need to be kids. Taken them out & not sending them anywhere. Avoid as not worth the hassle.
