Areas to develop
Inclusion & environment
Staff develop action plans to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They use picture cards or simple sign language to develop children's understanding and communication skills. Staff work with parents to ensure that referrals are made to external agencies. Leaders outline their intentions for staff to carry out training to extend their knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact on the children's learning.
Star Early Years Provision has been exceptional for my 1‑year‑old daughter. Sabrina consistently goes over and beyond to make sure she is happy, settled, and thriving. Tara is incredibly supportive and understanding of the challenges working parents face, and her flexibility has made such a difference to our family. The whole team is caring, reliable, and dedicated. I highly recommend them.
Read on GoogleOur 18 month old son has been going for almost a year now. We couldn’t be more pleased with the care and service provided by Tara and the team. We’re never in any doubt he is nurtured and cared for as he would be at home. The children across the age ranges play together, which has really helped our son’s development. It’s also been nice to see the older children help him and show kindness. Communication is excellent, with email notice before each week explaining the activities and book focus. As well as daily text updates when wanted. Day trips out are frequent, which shows how much the staff like to go the extra mile. They’re also incredibly accommodating around drop off and pick up. A wonderful nursery with an excellent team.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely fantastic nursery/holiday club/after school provider!! Dion thoroughly enjoys spending time here and I wouldn't trust anywhere else. During school holidays there are plenty of day trips covering such a wide range of activities to keep him entertained which I think is extremely important to keep him stimulated. All the staff are knowledgeable, kind and friendly and I am happy knowing my child is happy and safe there. Thank you Star EYP, keep up the great work x
Read on GoogleOur girl is very happy here and comes home having learnt new things every day. She loves the staff and talks about them and the other children when she’s home. The nursery is very welcoming and caring to the children and the staff keep us regularly updated about our child’s development and what they plan to help her achieve next. They take the children on educational and fun day trips which my child thoroughly enjoys. They have clear plans for what they will focus on each week and we receive an email of this to keep us informed. Lovely nursery!
