The dedicated team of 12 staff, 11 of whom hold qualifications ranging from Level 2 to Level 5, create a warm and nurturing environment where children settle quickly. The curriculum is thoughtfully planned across all seven areas of learning, considering each child's individual needs and interests.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The nursery's special educational needs coordinator and staff securely support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) by identifying developmental gaps and making prompt referrals for additional support. They work closely with parents and other professionals to promote a consistent approach and implement individual education plans.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy spending time in outside areas, benefiting from fresh air and learning to use different types of equipment, such as climbing apparatus.

EAL / language support

Staff provide opportunities for all children, including those learning English as an additional language, to develop their communication skills. This is particularly evident for pre-school children, where staff promote a language-rich environment through stories, songs, and engaging activities.

What a wonderful nursery, with such lovely caring staff. My granddaughter loved going every week, but it time for her to fly as she’s off to school next week, so I’d like to say thank you for looking after her, you made her toddler years very special. We will miss you all, so here’s a big thank you Gemma, kaya, Sarah & Lana, for taking very special care of our granddaughter. 🤗

Wonderful Nursery, Great Staff my son attended this nursery before leaving to go to school. Overall experience wonderful and would recommend it to anyone looking for childcare. The Staff here are so loving towards the children and helps them grow and develop into their own individual characters. Management team always there If you need help or support. The children get a Great choice of snacks In the morning and afternoon. Observations are recorded And uploaded for parents to see which is lovely to see what your children get up to. Wonderful opportunity for children to learn This nursery provides great extra activities for the children, including toddler waddles And leavers party for the school leavers in 2024! One of the best nurseries I have sent my son to and wish I found this Nursery alot sooner!

Thank you to Star Nursery, Gemma, Sarah and the other wonderful members of staff of whom have encouraged and helped my little boy to grow. He previously had a terrible experience at his prior Nursery so when he moved here it was a very nerve wracking experience however the staff were incredibly patient, kind and nurturing, and have truly helped him blossom. There is always an abundance of activities to keep the kids engaged, fun days planned and smiles greeting us at the door. We've had an absolutely incredible experience and I couldn't be more grateful!

Both of my children have attended Star Nursery, and both have loved their two years there. The staff are simply amazing and make the worry of leaving your child in other people's cate a lot easier. I highly recommend this Nursery to all 🥰

My son attended Star Nursery when the previous manager was there I didnt like her she was rude and unapproachable and the nursery was going downhill. I was going to pull him out but then the deputy stepped up as manager and a nursery worker as deputy. All I can say is what a differeance they made the turnt the nursery around I will definately be sending my nearly 2 year old there Spetember! Great team and great nursery keep it up.
