Stepping Stones Sittingbourne is a privately owned nursery that came under new ownership in June 2023, providing care for children from two years old up to school age. The nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, during term time.

Parents are complimentary about the nursery. They comment on how caring and supportive the staff are. They say that their children make excellent progress because of the opportunities and interactions staff provide.
Inclusion & environment
Staff work alongside parents and other professionals to create target plans for children. This helps children to make good progress in relation to their starting points.
Children enjoy the time they spend outdoors. They are fascinated by the world around them, observing construction diggers nearby and asking questions, which helps to broaden their knowledge and extend vocabulary. Staff provide wonderful opportunities for physical play, with children balancing on crates and planks, and riding bikes safely in the garden.
