Outdoor space

Staff promote children's outdoor play and provide children with plenty of fresh air. Children confidently jump across large wooden logs (with staff support when needed) and explore the construction area, filling and emptying trucks with stones.

Lovely little nursery. Was the only nursery in the area to show us the whole nursery, whilst looking round and not just the room my child would be starting in. Teresa made an effort to greet us by our names and remembered my little boys name, from booking our visit. Little things that go a long way, when choosing a nursery.

My daughter started a few weeks ago and she loves it! The service I received from Teresa when I was looking for somewhere at short notice was exceptional. Teresa drove to see me in her own time and spoke to me about things I was worried about at the time, you would never know she is the owner, she is so humble and down to earth. She allowed us to come and view the place when it was closed, showed me what my child would be doing, where they take naps, the outside play area, told me about the different members of staff for each age. Told me about the food and snacks she would be eating. She really put my mind at rest. The app she has created for her daycare is next to none. I can log in at anytime and see what Ariyana has been doing with photos/videos of her throughout the day, or notes in the journal, it also shows me what time she took her nap and how long for, how many wet nappies she’s had, all of these things are satisfying for mother’s. I’ve never seen or experienced anything like I have with Sunflower Daycare. Her staff are lovely and my daughter doesn’t cry when she gets dropped off which is comforting, if anything she doesn’t want to go home lol. It hasn’t even been one month yet and I can’t wait to increase the days and hours for my little girl. I can trust this daycare, the staff are lovely and I can see that my daughter is learning more and enjoying every moment with them. Thank you!
