How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make strong progress. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children spend prolonged periods of uninterrupted playtime in the large, outdoor play space. Children benefit from fresh air and exercise, and they learn about the functions of their bodies. Younger children develop the skills to put on their own wet weather clothing before going outdoors.

My daughter goes there and I have never for once regretted. She started a year ago and her transformation is amazing. Her confident level, her speed oh my God. Am happy I took her there. I will recommend this nursery a 1000 times. It’s the best. And the staff, very supportive and friendly. Am happy when my girl is happy.

Good place for a child's emotional and physical development. 6 stars for the amazing staff. We moved from another country with a 2 year old kid. Coming from an entirely different background it was a very hard decision to make considering the settling in and everything new. The little one struggled to settle in initially for obvious reasons but thanks to the loving team they made him feel like home in no time. It's been 8 months now and the development is evident. Highly recommended !!

Both my sons have attended sunflowers for the last 3 years. We’ve never had any problems or complaints in that time. The boys love all the staff and have made some great friendships. They look forward to going and never ever complain about not wanting to go.

First of all I cannot thank the manager enough for her help. BUT that’s a big but, I went round and signed my daughter in for 30 hours back in January this year to start the end of April. Both my husband and I work full time. With my baby brain I rang up to see when I booked to start (it was for the next week) and then had the phone call all parents dread. That now they’ve overbooked and cannot accept my daughter, they forgot to count the children that were already there. Which is a big mistake, now at 33 weeks pregnant I need to find another nursery!! With 1 week until the new term!!! I could understand if I didn’t give them 4 month’s notice and what would have happened if I didn’t call? I was organised and planned I’m just upset that something like this can happen PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
