Inclusion & environment
Staff regularly assess and observe children's progress, quickly identifying any gaps in their knowledge. They make timely referrals to other professionals and set individual targets and next steps for children.
Children have many opportunities for physical activity, with young babies benefiting from a spacious, open floor for large-muscle skill development. All children enjoy daily fresh air and outdoor play in large garden areas where they can move, balance, and run, with staff considerately joining in games and acting as good role models.
Staff support all children, including those who speak English as an additional language, by speaking slowly and clearly, repeating tricky or new words, and narrating as children play, which helps develop confidence and new vocabulary.
I am so grateful and appreciate all the support and kindness from the staff at Purple Stars Day Nursery. The communication is excellent.. My daughter attends this nursery and her development has grown so much and loves it she has made so much progress the bonds she has made with staff and children is amazing. She brings home drawings and tells me what she's learnt. Excellent nursery for a toddler. NOTE: This nursery has new staff and new management This NOT owned by MOONSTONE.
