Inspector highlights
My son was bitten multiple times, dressed in girls clothing (despite me providing clothing for him) and had his fingers slammed in a door by a member of staff so hard that his skin burst. I raised my concerns and was told the boy who had been biting my son numerous times had been moved to another room to keep my son safe. My son later started having bite mark bruises on his arms again. I asked what was going on and they informed me this child had been moved back into a room with my son. They did not notify me of this until I asked why my son was injured AGAIN. When I raised my concerns with the manager via email politely (despite being angry and upset) they then told me they were removing my son from the nursery and accused me of "breaking down the relationship" between myself and the nursery. Effectively kicking my son out of nursery and preventing him from seeing his friends and disrupting his education because they simply were unable to safeguard my son. Please do not send your children here it is dangerous. The management are rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. Upon my son leaving I asked for and received a booklet, a whole BOOKLET of accident logs and injuries that my son sustained whilst at this nursery. Your children deserve better, for their sake avoid this place and keep them safe, this nursery won't.
Read on GoogleAmazing nursery, everyone is very professional, lovely and caring. They have great facilities as well. My daughter started to go to Sunflower Too when she was 14 months old and she absolutely loves them. I cannot recommend them enough.
Read on GoogleI went to have a look round sunflower nursery as I have a little girl with additional needs the staff was very friendly and said they would call me back the following week to discuss the help my little girl would need but they never even had the decency to call me back I would not recommend this nursery to someone with a child who has additional needs as I was disappointed that they never took the time to call me back
