Sunshine Fruits Montessori Nursery offers a Montessori-inspired educational environment that encourages children to become self-reliant and inquisitive learners. The nursery implements the full Montessori curriculum daily in its preschool room, while the toddler room integrates Montessori principles to unlock children's potential.

For the youngest attendees, the baby room primarily follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, complemented by key Montessori concepts. The nursery prioritises smooth transitions for new children, conducting personalised one-to-one sessions with parents and children to understand individual needs, routines, and developmental stages.

This is followed by two settling-in sessions to familiarise children with the nursery day, including meals, naps, and activities. Nutritional well-being is a focus, with all meals cooked on-site using a diverse range of healthy ingredients, and children are encouraged to participate in food preparation.

Strong parent-nursery communication is maintained through daily updates via an online app and termly in-depth meetings with written progress reports to support continued learning at home. While the original Camberwell location has been serving families since 2017, a new branch at Battersea Park is slated to open in Autumn 2025.

Pricing & funding

Fees are billed monthly based on the number of days attended per week, with packages for three days, four days, or full-time. Different rates apply for non-funded children, and those receiving 15 or 30 hours of government funding. Voluntary monthly charges apply for meals, consumables, and extra services.
