About this day nursery

Working Mums Daycare & Pre-School, established in 1992, has been dedicated to providing exceptional childcare and early education for over three decades. With nurseries thoughtfully designed to offer a "home-from-home" environment, children from their earliest days are encouraged to grow into confident and curious learners.

The highly experienced early years educators at Working Mums Nurseries understand the importance of play and discovery in a child's development, fostering independence, resilience, and social skills. The curriculum is deeply rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, blending child-led exploration with adult-guided experiences to build strong foundations for lifelong learning.

The nurseries also emphasise outdoor learning as a core part of their curriculum and provide healthy, home-cooked meals prepared by a dedicated chef daily. Working Mums Daycare & Pre-School aims to create a supportive partnership with families, ensuring that each child's journey is a positive and enriching one.

Our daughter attended this nursery for a year and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly caring and friendly, and she built such lovely bonds with them – she would often talk about them at home with a big smile. The nursery is very clean and well maintained, and while there were a few sick days, it was far less than we expected. The kitchen, with its dedicated chef preparing fresh meals every day, was another big plus. She also learned so much during her time there, especially in terms of language development. The manager runs everything in a very organised way, which gave us real peace of mind. We’re so grateful for the excellent care and would warmly recommend this nursery to other families.

We lovely WM Battersea! We viewed a few nurseries in the area before landing on WM and they have truly been such a wonderful choice. Our daughter joined at 14 months and is soon to progress to the toddler room. She is always so excited to get to nursery and see all of the team in the baby room, she speaks about them when she comes home and is always in such a good mood after a day there. They offer really well balanced meals and the ratio of staff to children is excellent. We would recommend this nursery 10x over. Thank you WM for taking such good care of our baby girl!

Our child is so happy at Working Mums! The staff are wonderful and it's such a warm, inclusive environment in the Babies Room. Our child has progressed in leaps and bounds and we're really happy with our experience here, especially compared to our previous nursery.

At the beginning they looked OK, however the quality of activities they provide and the interaction between staff and children is really poor, when we decided to take our child out because of so many things going on . We requested a final meeting with his key worker , we did not get nothing , his learning journey they said is not available ( our son was there for about 9 months with no learning journey ) we requested this during the period when payment for the month was already gone through and our son stopped going ) if you are concerned about your child achievement just avoid . It more like a creche. ( don't judge a book by it cover) a better nursery is not about a good building. It how it inside.
