They are registered for various government funding schemes, including 15 hours for eligible 2-year-olds, universal 15 hours for all 3 and 4-year-olds, and 30 hours for working parents of 3 and 4-year-olds.

They also participate in the HMRC Tax-Free Childcare scheme, where the government contributes 20% of fees, and accept childcare vouchers. 50 per hour or a minimum of £20 per week to help cover operating costs, which include items like fruit, vegetables, bread, toiletries, and resources for activities and special events.

What it's like

As children arrive, they are greeted warmly by staff and encouraged to bring in comforters to help them settle. Children are also encouraged to have a positive attitude to trying new things. They learn about shapes by playing alongside staff with magnetic toys.

Pricing & funding

Charges are based on a flat hourly rate for additional hours outside of funded hours. The nursery also requests a voluntary contribution towards consumables, which can be paid as an hourly rate or a minimum weekly amount.
