Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"parents say that staff are friendly and that they are supported to continue their children's learning at home."
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are welcomed and supported to feel secure. The manager spends additional funding to help meet the individual learning needs of children with SEND, such as purchasing resources for sensory play to encourage concentration.
Children show that they enjoy playing outdoors and are supported by staff to develop their balance and coordination. They follow staff's suggestions to challenge their physical skills and learn about safety when using larger apparatus.
Some children who speak English as an additional language (EAL) are not supported as well as others, as staff do not use keywords in all children's home languages to help them develop a sense of belonging and support their language development.
We are infinitely happy and grateful that our child attend Sunshine Preschool. He settled so nicely and much of respect to specifically Vanessa, Emma and co for spending so much time and energy. Thank you once again! We wish you all the best from P. And M.
