Teenie Blooms, established in 2019, provides childcare for children aged 1 to 8 years old. Operating all year round from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am and 6 pm, the nursery offers a child-led environment where children are encouraged to explore and engage in purposeful play.
The latest Ofsted inspection, on 10th August 2022, rated the nursery as 'Good'. Staff at Teenie Blooms are experienced in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
The setting's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) works closely with staff, parents, and other professionals to create individual support plans, helping children to progress. The nursery also places importance on outdoor learning, offering ample opportunities for children to enjoy fresh air and physical activity.
Children learn to count, take turns, and develop their physical skills through play with wheeled toys and throwing games. Many children and families at Teenie Blooms speak English as an additional language, and the nursery is well-equipped to support them, with most staff being bilingual.
This enables effective communication with parents and provides opportunities for children to use their home languages. The nursery celebrates varied cultural events throughout the year, fostering an understanding and appreciation of diverse communities.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. The setting's special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) knows the children well and has a good understanding of their individual needs. Staff work with the SENCo, parents and other professionals closely and together they devise support plans, helping individual children to catch up to their peers.
Children's health and physical development is supported well. There are plenty of opportunities to move, explore and enjoy space outside in the fresh air. Children learn to count, take turns, negotiate the spaces available and remind others to keep quiet while they play hide and seek. They learn how to use the pedals on wheeled toys and confidently ask for help if they get stuck.
Many of the children and families speak English as an additional language. Most of the staff are bilingual and provide opportunities for children to use their home languages and to converse with parents effectively. Children take part in varied celebrations throughout the year. This encourages an understanding of people and communities beyond their own and helps them to recognise and value each other's differences and similarities.
We've had a fantastic experience with preschool this year . Consistent staff members who have shown genuine love, care and attention to the children . The staff have taken on feedback and organised many engaging, and educational activities this year . The staff have shown dedication to thier roles and our child has been really happy, he will really miss his key workers. Keep up the great work preschool !
Read on GoogleIf you're looking for a nursery based on Ofsted rating then these guys haven't had an inspection yet. I have no doubt they would pass with flying colours. My review is based on my daughter attending for the past 2 and a half years since she was 1 years old and my experience has been very positive. The staff are truly caring, nurturing and I couldn't ask for better care. The children get lots of stimulation through the various activities they put on everyday and if you have a problem with something, the nursery manager is very approachable - she will take time out and listen to your concerns. You know this is true because if changes need to be implemented she will follow up with you after this has been done. Since attending this nursery my daughter is excelling with her speech and language and social skills. I cannot rate the nursery high enough and even though my daughter is here for another year I am dreading her leaving next year!
Read on GoogleAn amazing nursery that my son is always excited to attend. The moment he knows its time for nursery he cannot contain his excitement. The staff are fantastic and welcoming. They go out of their way to help parents and support our children. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!
Read on GoogleIf I could I would rate this nursery 0 stars. I have seen no progress in my child that comes to this nursery and every time I ask the manger she tells me they are working on something for my child but nothing is being done. The deputy is also very rude and you can see through her act of being very “experienced”. I have nothing to say about the staff that were working at this nursery previously or are currently working, my review is only about the managers. The manager seems as though she didn’t know she had work and turned up last minute, she always looks rough and unprofessional, and it is always so hard to get a conversation with her during the day, especially when I drop my child off as I am always being told she isn’t on site. The deputy speaks a lot for the manager and seems to blag a lot of things she says. I have seen her roll her eyes many times when speaking to parents and myself when she thinks she is being sneaky about it. I have also heard she speaks to parents who can’t speak English very well in a rude manner as if they are below her and will say words they can’t even understand as if to make herself look higher and smarter compared to them. This nursery is just disoriented and disorganised like the management in charge. I have chosen to keep myself anonymous in case they start behaving rudely to my child too. I have also noticed how they delete old reviews that give them low stars and bad reviews so I wonder how they will do with this one.
Read on GoogleBy far the worst nursery I have EVER had any dealing with. Management is completely disorganised, my child would come home in dirty or damaged clothes daily and with bruising. On one occasion, my child came home with large grazes. When I asked the nursery what had happened, they said they had not noticed. This was shocking as the large grazes were visible on the forwhead. My child also ended up in a&e with a dislocated elbow, which was heartbreaking. The member of staff who caused it was dismissed but the nursery did not change its overly disorganised approach to running the nursery. They were only interested in covering their own back. It breaks my heart to think that this was their only priority. This nursery needs to be closed down and management changed. Further to this, my child made no progress whilst at the nursery and I had to chase up vital documents. Whilst at the nursery, the key worker was changed so often, I did not know who was looking after my child from day to day. There were many staff who started at the nursery and then left. Many of the staff could not talk in a professional manner and could not tell me what my child had done or eaten during the day. Absolutely horrific nursery!
