Outdoor space

There are a range of opportunities, indoors and outdoors, for children to practise their physical skills. Babies are encouraged to crawl and pull themselves up. Older children climb and ride bikes and scooters outside. The environment is safe, and children are encouraged to take managed risks, supported by staff.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language are supported through confident interactions from staff, leading to happiness, settlement, and progress in their speech and language.

My 3 year old daughter attends Teesdale Day Nursery and I can’t thank the team enough for the love and care they show my daughter every day. Thank goes to nursery manager and all the staff for going above and beyond to make sure the children feel safe and happy. The activities are creative, educational, and fun, helping the kids learn while they play. My daughter has learned so much and always comes home excited to tell me about her day.I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a stimulating environment. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my little one!

Fantastic nursery! My little girl is reaching the end of her time at nursery now and I cannot fault Michelle and the team. Always been on hand to answer any questions and have really helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds. I would have no problem in recommending Teesdale children's day nursery to anyone. Thank you to Michelle and the rest of the staff
