The Beehive Montessori operates two preschools in Hampshire, one in Lindford and another in Shalden. They integrate the Montessori method with play-based learning, fostering confidence and independence in a supportive environment.

The nursery recognises each child as an individual, providing opportunities for personalised growth and encouraging a love for discovery. Their skilled and experienced team collaborates closely with children, parents, and caregivers, with each child assigned a key person to ensure a secure and happy foundation.

The Shalden branch, established in 1990, is managed by Jan and Annette since 2005, while the Lindford branch, opened in 2018, is situated in the heart of its community. The curriculum is structured around the seven areas of learning from the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring a comprehensive developmental approach.

The Beehive emphasises quality interactions, offering a language-rich setting, promoting personal and social development, encouraging physical activity, and nurturing early literacy and mathematical skills through engaging activities. They also broaden children's understanding of the world through diverse experiences, ranging from nature walks to community visits, and foster expressive arts by valuing the process of creation.

Leaders arrange bespoke settling-in sessions and home visits to get to know new children and their families, which parents speak highly of. Pricing & funding

Fees are invoiced and payable at the start of each term, with monthly or half-termly payment options available upon request. Additional hours are charged at a flat hourly rate.
