About this day nursery

The Berrypatch is a charitable nursery in Finedon, Wellingborough, offering quality care and education for children from 9 months to 11 years. The setting operates from Finedon Community Centre and provides dedicated spaces tailored to different age groups: a cosy baby room for those aged 9 months to 2 years, a larger nursery room for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds, and an out-of-school provision for children from Reception to Year 6.

Our ethos

We strongly believe that children learn through play and therefore our setting is child led . Children are free to choose what they want to play with and are encouraged to be independent as much as possible. The role of the adult is to provide the resources for the children and to interact with the children to further their knowledge and skills.By fostering independence, children become capable, resilient and confident and therefore are able to learn.
