Open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00, the nursery prides itself on a stable staff team that provides a warm welcome, fostering a strong sense of belonging among children.
The dedicated staff are adept at quickly identifying and supporting children who may be struggling, with specialised assistance for those with speech development challenges. Outdoor learning is a key part of the daily routine for toddlers, promoting physical and emotional readiness for the day through activities like digging, climbing, and steering wheeled toys.
The nursery also focuses on developing emotional intelligence from an early age, utilising a storybook about feelings as a foundation for teaching kindness and respect, with older children demonstrating a clear understanding of these values. The curriculum is designed to build progressively on children's existing skills and knowledge across all areas of development, ensuring children are well-prepared for their transition to school.

Inclusion & environment
Staff are skilled at quickly identifying children who may be struggling and promptly request assessments for professional services. Children with speech development challenges receive support from specially trained staff and in-house support packages. Leaders use any additional funding children receive to specifically support their needs.
Outdoor learning is the first activity of the day for toddlers, as staff have observed that children need to move in a large space to be physically and emotionally ready for the day. Staff use the outdoor area particularly well for developing children's large movements, offering opportunities for digging, climbing, steering wheeled toys, and creating large floor pictures.
The Bridge Nursery has been an amazing place for our toddler, Jack! He absolutely loves it there — from the incredibly friendly and caring staff to the delicious food he can't get enough of. The team is always communicative, accommodating, and genuinely invested in the children’s happiness and well-being. The facilities are spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed for both babies and toddlers, with plenty of toys and activities to keep them engaged. The outdoor area is a great bonus, giving the little ones space to explore and play outside. As parents, it’s such a relief to know that Jack is in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment every day. We couldn’t be happier with The Bridge Nursery and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place for their little one!
