The nursery received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 3rd November 2023. Attentive and caring staff welcome children and families, ensuring children settle quickly and engage in well-planned activities.
Staff excel at nurturing communication skills from an early age, providing focused interactions with babies, using eye contact, repetitive sounds, and an engaging tone to help them feel safe and secure. Children enjoy exploring books, listening intently as staff describe pictures, and respond with babbling, learning the natural flow of conversation.
The nursery places a strong emphasis on physical development, both indoors and outdoors. Children develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through activities like painting and manipulating play dough, and learn to control scissors.
Outside, they enhance coordination and balance by using bicycles to navigate the space, with daily opportunities for fresh air and exercise. The nursery also includes enriching experiences such as visits from local community members like doctors and firefighters, helping children learn about their roles and equipment, making them comfortable with such interactions.
