Our son attends The Circle Nursery in Avebury and we (including our son) absolutely love it! The outdoor space is wonderful and must be seen to be believed! The staff are all caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have made us so comfortable in the knowledge that our son is getting the best possible care, particularly during the current circumstances. He is so happy during drop off and pick up, we feel very lucky. Thank you to The Circle Nursery team!

The Circle Nursery is a lovely setting with brilliant staff, loads of outdoor space and healthy varied food. Our daughter has absolutely loved her time there, having attended from age 1 to 4, and they have done a great job of preparing her for starting school. We have always felt confident that she was well cared for and having a great time in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. Would highly recommend!

Parent-sted: Outstanding The Circle Nursery is an outstanding nursery setting. It is everything we could have wished for our children. We would highly recommend this nursery to other families. The nursery itself is has a playground area, with canopy for rainy days, a playground, an Oak tree for summer shade, a kitchen garden for growing seeds and mud play. There are separate playgrounds for younger tots, and older pre-schoolers. Beyond the playground is a beautiful meadow, with different play areas, such as a ‘construction’ zone with toy dumper trucks and spades for the children to dig. The indoor space has classrooms for each year group, and a communal area for activities and meal times. The food is fantastic – I would move in! The menu is genuinely varied, you wouldn’t think healthy food could have such a variety. Its impressive how open the children are, within the setting and with the encouragement around them, to trying different flavors and textures. The other day my daughter said “Try the pudding mummy. You might like it. Its good to try new things.” I think even fussy eaters would feel intrigued to try something new. The staff are lovely, approachable and a great support as we navigated first time parenting. They have a good balance across professional experience, energetic young staff and more experienced leaders who really know they stuff. Each staff member brings different experiences, and the children come home talking about yoga, singing with a guitar, and ‘science experiments’. The variety of experiences are more than anything we could provide at home. One day my daughter said “I love mummy & daddy, I love my sister, and I love myself” – I thought it was brilliant that someone had taught her to say out loud that she loves herself. We are a bilingual family, and the staff response was to teach themselves basis words, so that they could greet the children and support them in learning numbers and colours in their second language. The Circle Nursery has a great transition to school programme. Which included a more school-like classroom setting in the last year of nursery, registration, pegs and a programme of ’lessons’ to prepare the children for the school classroom format. In the last weeks before school starts, they have been talking about introducing yourself and how to make friends. As 2020 babies, we were unsure about which childcare path to choose for our family, but I can confidently say that The Circle Nursery was the right choice. This nursery has been the best possible investment, to give set our children on a happy, confident, and curious path. We recently attended a CBeebies event, and I was fascinated to see that my children were the first to step forward and engage with the presenter. The confidence they had in engaging with the activities seemed derived from their nursery experiences. I am absolutely confident that the Circle Nursery has given the children the best possible preparation for starting school. Thank you and we will miss you Circle team.

When visiting nursery’s for my son, The Circle nursery stood out considerably. Not only is it’s village location a beautiful place for children to spend their days, the facilities and learning ethos is second to none. There is so much imagination packed into their activities- my son has thrived there, learning new things everyday in a safe and nurturing environment. The outdoor focus is brilliant- enabling kids to be kids! The staff are amazing, clearly love the children and I don’t think there has been one day that my son hasn’t skipped happily into nursery! We wholeheartedly recommend The Circle!

I can recommend the Circle Nursery without reservation. It’s no wonder it attracts families from far and wide. Our first grandson enjoyed four happy years here, having the very best of starts to his ‘education'. Staff engaged his curiosity and imagination, nurtured his creativity (and tolerated his strong will!), setting him up robustly ready for his next steps, resourceful and resilient. As a retired Primary headteacher, I didn’t need to read the Ofsted report to recognise excellence - not just a great site and facilities, but also an ethos and welcoming staff group that owner Alison can be proud of. You need to visit to appreciate the outstanding external environment. His 18 month old brother has recently started, and, once he’s demolished his breakfast, can’t wait to experience what each new day offers! If you are looking for nursery provision, make sure this is on your shortlist.
