Inclusion & environment
How they support every child
SEND provision
Staff provide children with special educational needs and/or disabilities a highly inclusive learning environment that they access with their friends. The very knowledgeable special educational needs coordinator works closely with parents and other professionals and puts strategies in place to ensure children have the support they need to make the best possible progress and access a wide range of learning experiences.
Outdoor space
Children use the garden and local outdoor environment for play and learning; in the garden they squeal with excitement when a ladybird lands on their hand and handle it carefully while staff facilitate discussion about it. The manager exposes children to wider outdoor experiences such as visits to the local dairy farm, walks around the village and splashing in the stream.
