Appalling nursery and organisation who do not prioritise childrens wellbeing. This nursery has been grossly understaffed for many months due to numerous management issues. I raised this and concerns about safeguarding of my child with the nursery and management team at Little Garden directly. Their response initially was to reassure me that they take all concerns seriously and would look to address it without prejudice. They then terminated my contract with no notice a few weeks later. They have closed rooms at short notice and have very poor standards of communication. If you want to ensure that your child goes to a loving, supportive, nurturing environment that you can rely on, do not choose this nursery under any circumstances.

I would give negative stars if I could. I strongly urge parents not to send their children to this nursery. After more than 2 years of attending full-time, my child — along with a few others — was abruptly removed without warning, following what appears to be severe internal governance failure. This wasn’t handled with care or professionalism: we received a phone call late on a Friday afternoon, with no prior discussion or real alternative offered — just an unreasonable suggestion to move our children hours away to a completely unfamiliar setting. When asked how decisions were made about which children were removed, they have disclosed nothing beyond email chains I myself had initiated — no records, no meetings, no assessments, no proper process, no individual consideration. This place puts everything ahead of the wellbeing of the children. I regret entrusting them with my child’s care and feel utterly let down. Even if it’s the only available option, please look elsewhere — no child deserves to be in that environment. In response to your reply on my review: I find it quite appalling that you speak of maintaining a high standard of care and safety when, in reality, the nursery is currently falling short of even the most basic standards. The situation I experienced was not a minor inconvenience—it was a reflection of a serious lack of planning, oversight, and concern for the wellbeing of children in your care. Citing staffing challenges does not excuse the fact that children were exposed to distressing conditions that no parent would consider acceptable. If the wellbeing and safety of children were truly your “highest priority,” then more responsible and proactive decisions would have been made.

We have sent both of our children to this nursery and are very happy with the team and the service they provide. Both of our children love it there and were happy and well looked after. It has had it's ups and downs with management changes and sometimes high staff turn over but there has usually been clear communication about this and a willingness to involve parents. They have been very supportive throughout the covid19 as my husband and I are both key workers and sometimes remained open just to look after our daughter even though there were no other children attending. Their new app for daily reports and more detailed observations is great. Overall we really like the nursery. Thank you little garden!

Even though my daughter only spent a few months here as we have to move her to a nursery closer to our home, she settled into the nursery very smoothly with the help of all staff and despite having key person change, she didn't have any issues as other staff are equally caring and helpful. I can clearly see her independence grew since attending the nursery, she learnt English songs while she couldn't even speaking English at the start and she becomes more confident of herself. Most importantly, she likes going to nursery and often tells me she wants to go there more often. The communication with the nursery is very smooth and the admin team is super efficient. Obviously I'd appreciate if I can have more photos of her but I do appreciate staff writing her diaries everyday so I know what activities she enjoyed and whether she has eaten/nap well. I would recommend this nursery to my friend if they stay close by.

My daughter attended for 3.5years and we are very happy. The team are fantastic, including the chef and support staff and I feel like there is a general happy atmosphere. I always had full confidence that my daughter was cared for even during a pandemics, a heatwave and anything else that was thrown at them, it's not an easy job. My daughter has loved her time there. I highly recommend it.
