About this day nursery

Linden Tree Nursery Schools, established in 2005, operates several small, bespoke nursery schools across South London. They cater to children aged 6 months to 5 years, providing early education rooted in the Froebelian approach.

Open 51 weeks a year from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with an early close at 6:00 PM on Fridays, the nurseries focus on creating a stimulating and supportive environment where children learn through experiences directly related to their daily lives. The Froebelian philosophy emphasises the importance of nature and the outdoors, ensuring children's voices are heard and incorporated into their learning journey.

The team consists of highly qualified, experienced, and caring staff dedicated to providing a rich educational experience during the vital early years of childhood. They encourage prospective parents to attend open evenings and offer detailed information on admissions, fees, and funding options through their website.

Our ethos

We are proud of our great team of highly qualified, experienced, caring staff who work to provide a stimulating Froebelian environment for all children that attend. Friedrich Froebel believed that children should have access to rich learning experiences which have a direct relationship to their everyday lives. We honour this at LTNS where children learn within a secure, supporting and stimulating environment with links to nature and the outdoors. The children are our curriculum and our experienced and qualified team ensure the children’s voices are heard in everything they do. The early years are a vital aspect of childhood and we are proud of the Froebelian education we provide.

We cannot recommend this beautiful, homely and professional nursery enough!!! It is an outstanding place for little ones. Our baby started here when he was one, and he has just flourished ever since he joined. The staff care for each individual child like their own and make sure that each day is filled with so much fun. We feel a great sense of comfort being part of the Linden Tree family. Thank you to Dora, Chloe, Amy, Ava and the whole team.
