The Courtyard Nursery School, part of the family-run Pathways Nurseries established in 1989, provides high-quality early education in a nurturing environment. C, or hospital.

The nursery caters to children from 6 weeks up to school age, fostering learning and play together under the guidance of a skilled and qualified team. Inside, there are spacious, well-equipped rooms for different age groups, including a dedicated sleep room and a library.

Outside, three distinct areas offer opportunities for adventurous play and learning development across the curriculum. Each child is assigned a key person who tailors activities to support their individual learning and development.

The nursery prioritises partnership with parents and adheres to all national requirements, following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum Guidance. It also offers funded places for eligible two-, three-, and four-year-olds.

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive excellent support. Specialist staff work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure children receive the support they need so that they make remarkable progress.

Outdoor space

Cosy and attractive book corners are provided in every room and outside area. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
