What it's like
Staff in the pre-school room have a deep knowledge of the children's interests and next steps in learning, which they use exceptionally well to provide a wealth of engaging experiences. This helps children to make excellent progress and flourish in an inclusive environment. Across the nursery, staff plan motivating learning experiences linked to children's interests, supporting good progress and emotional well-being.
The nursery offers full-time, full-day, and half-day sessions. Government-funded hours are stretched over 50 weeks per year across a minimum of three full days. Non-mandatory consumable charges apply to both funded and non-funded age groups, with additional hours charged at an hourly rate.

Inclusion & environment
Staff work closely with parents to swiftly identify any children who may need additional intervention, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Any additional funding received for children is used wisely to provide additional staff to help keep children safe and promote their education.
The forest school area and allotment are used well by staff to help children learn about living things, life cycles and the changing seasons. Children also have access to sensory relaxation areas outdoors, which are used to help them regulate their emotions.
This nursery is amazing! The people who work here are excellent. They’re so open, accommodating, patient and friendly. They work extremely hard and we’ve really seen it with how well our baby boy has been doing since he’s been here. He’s learned so much like learning to walk, saying new phrases, being much more confident and he even says the names of the carers now too! When we come to pick him up, the carers give us such detailed updates of the activities they’ve done, the toys they’ve played with, how well they’ve eaten and slept and how happy they’ve been throughout the day. We get updates on an app which is really great so we can see how they’re getting on during the day and we regularly get pictures too!We can directly message the carers and the management team through the app and they always respond promptly and are so helpful. The payments are also tracked through the app so it’s great have everything is in once place. So if you’re thinking of enrolling your child here, I’d definitely recommend it!!!
