SEND provision

Processes are in place to identify and support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff are rigorous in their assessment of children, so that needs can be identified quickly. There are experienced specialist staff in place who are knowledgeable about how to recognise children who might need support, including those who have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outdoor space

In outdoor play, children use water and containers to learn about mathematical concepts of volume. Children take appropriate risks on the large outdoor play equipment.

Such an amazing nursery with amazing staff! My daughter has been here since 10months and going back to work wouldn’t of been as easy with out the care, passion & commitment dedicated to her & all the children witnessed/felt in all her groups. 3 years on and the love and passion still shines on, so sad we have almost reached the last year within this amazing nursery with caring staff. Highly recommended setting & care provided. We will be forever grateful for the girls at Elmfield xx

My eldest has been attending this nursery for the past two years and my youngest started 3months ago, I genuinely cannot not thank Elmfield enough for everything that they have done and currently do with both my boys. The girls that work here are so caring, considerate and most of all, look after my kids with care and affection. The attention to detail from the staff has been so touching and they have always addressed any issues I have had regarding my children very well. I visited a number of nursery prior to choosing Elmfield and cannot think of a better settling for my kids. The girls that work at Elmfield are an asset to the company and I am so content sending mi kids here.

We are thrilled with our experience at this nursery. The staff are always caring, professional and approachable. They focus on the individual child and always go the extra mile to provide the best care. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery and as a result have a advised a number of close friends of this as provider for their children. Five stars truest deserved and for every aspect!

My daughter has been attending Elmfield Nursery for two years now and I cannot speak highly enough of both the overall culture and the individual staff. My daughter attended another nursery for a short time. We moved her because we hoped to find somewhere that was more focused on providing a truly caring environment for children. Elmfield is everything and more I could have dreamt of in a nursery. I can say with absolute confidence that the staff have contributed as much as our family in shaping our daughter into the intelligent, caring person she is today. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Elmfield, and my son will be joining them soon.

I've sent both of my toddlers to this nursery in recent years. The facilities are excellent with a superb garden and an excellent range of play and toys out back that give a lovely outdoor experience for the kids. The nursery has recently been refurbished and is clean and safe for kids. The staff are attentive and caring towards the needs of all the children who seem to thrive here. Top marks
