Areas to develop
Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents appreciate the communication between them and the setting, in particular with the manager and their key person.
They comment on how their children are supported individually and with their development, in particular communication and language.
Inclusion & environment
There are effective arrangements in place to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to ensure that targeted support helps all children make the best possible progress. Staff liaise well with parents and other agencies to ensure children receive the support they need, focusing their plans and interactions to meet their learning needs.
Children are active outdoors as they take part in risky play on a range of equipment safely. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
Since Catarina took over, its got so much better. I have full confidence that my child will be well looked after. Staff are brilliant.
Read on GoogleTold my husband and I last week and this week that had space for two days for our child. Didn't say it was conditional. Was going to be registered but then two days later have allowed current family to take days and saying no space at all. Had not registered us in that time. I had accepted already and booked in settling in week. Owner and manager not accepting full responsibility and manager trying to backtrack on what happened in those phone calls.
Read on GoogleThe Eye Nursery is by far the best decision I made when moving my child from a previous nursery. The staff are so helpful, as a first-time mum understanding the government hours etc, but the manager was so helpful and explained it to me. I love that my child has a key worker to understand his progress, and this is monitored and sent to us as parents. The amazing app that really helps put your mind at ease when your child is having a bad morning and decides to go through a stage of not wanting to go to nursery (as he has a newborn sibling), the staff encourage him everyday. I can’t recommend any more highly. Each and every member of staff know all the children and likewise, the children know every member of staff so feel comfortable in approaching anyone of them. I don’t want my child to start reception and would love for him to stay here for as long as possible. The key thing for me as a parent was knowing his progress and everyday I get updates via the app. If you are looking for a nursery placement, this is the place for your child.
Read on GoogleThe staff make this place the best nursery in the area. My daughter goes there and looks forward to seeing all the staff and friends she's made. I would highly recommend this nursery to new parents as the level of support you get is absolutely brilliant!
