Understanding childcare funding isn't always easy, but the good news is we're here to help. Click the link below to download our guide to funded childcare and how we offer this at Busy Bees. Yes, although we prefer to call these 'funded', not 'free'. All our centres offer funded places where parents can access their funded hours without any additional charges. Many families, however, still choose our all-inclusive Busy Bees One package, which offers excellent value and convenience. It includes freshly prepared, nutritious meals, snacks, and drinks, as well as essential items such as nappies, wipes, and sun cream. This ensures children enjoy a consistent, high-quality experience while making things easier for busy parents. Funded sessions are capped at ten hours per day by the government, and in line with these guidelines, we are only able to fund a maximum of 10 hours per day. We also don't offer childcare by the hour. As a Busy Bees parent, each month you'll be sent a monthly invoice, which shows your child's funded hours as well as any chargeable non-funded hours and the fee for food and consumables. So, it'll always be clear how many funded hours have been used each day.

Busy Bees Hampton has been amazing for my daughter and for myself too. The setting is clean, well presented and safe for the children. The work they do with the children throughout their development is wonderful, engaging, appropriate and enjoyable for my daughter. The support they give the families is above and beyond I don’t know what I would have done without the support of staff in recent years. A faultless setting in my opinion, I will miss them dearly when my daughter leaves for school. I hope after completing my childhood and youth studies, I may be able to join such a fantastic team of people who do amazing work with all the children.

The people working there are lovely and super helpful with all things you need like ditching the nappy, improve toothbrushing habits (with stickers for motivation) and also with transition to school 😉 We had a surprise visit at the school pick up from my daughter’s key person 🥰

My Son has been attending Busy Bees in Hampton since May 2017. He began with settling in sessions which were a brilliant way for him to get used to the nursery setting and staff. He formed a brilliant relationship with his key worker in the baby room and I continue to feel at ease with his progress now as he has entered the pre-toddler room. The staff are all fantastic - no question or query is a problem. I receive daily updates through the online system and feedback on collection of what my Son has eaten, length of nap, nappy changes and activities. The key workers post observations of learning and development on the online parent system which is wonderful to see and eases the guilt of having to work! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a friendly local environment where you can feel at ease knowing your child is well looked after.

My DD has attended since she was around 18 months old. Upon starting within the toddler room she made some lovely friends. She has learnt to socialise well with others. She enjoys all the yummy, healthy, fresh food daily. The staff are all very welcoming and helped her to settle in, within the first few weeks, they have then followed through on her progress throughout the different classes. She now attends preschool at the nursery, where they are preparing her for school & teaching her the values she will need during her academic journey. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with a firm belief that your child is well looked after and cared for in a nurturing environment for a reasonable price.

My daughter started at Busy bees in November after moving to Peterborough. From the very start, all of the staff from reception to key workers with the children have been extremely helpful and have made Brooke feel at home and put me at ease with knowing she will be more than ready to start school in September. Brooke is also vegan and they have worked around that and cooked alternatives for her without any fuss. I couldn't be more thankful for all of their help daily with the progress of getting Brooke ready for school, I have noticed just how much she has grown up in the past few months and I know a lot of it is down to the guidance and examples set whilst she has been attending.
