The nursery welcomes children aged from 6 weeks to 11 years, providing a varied curriculum and activities tailored to individual needs and cultural backgrounds. Their core values include providing a safe and nurturing environment, encouraging social interaction, building strong family relationships, and supporting each child's unique identity and potential.
Our ethos
The Home Nursery is committed to a child-centred, play-based learning approach, fostering confidence, social skills, independence, resilience, and problem-solving abilities within a secure and stimulating environment. They implement the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and value a safe, nurturing atmosphere that supports each child's unique identity and potential, while building strong family relationships.
What it's like
Children are encouraged to manage their self-care skills, such as cleaning their face and taking care of personal belongings. They show excitement in team games like hide-and-seek in the garden, developing thinking skills through staff questions and early speaking skills through songs and stories.
The nursery charges additional service fees on a per-session basis to cover consumables and enhanced activities. Shorter sessions are available at reduced rates, and parents have the option to opt out of these additional fees.

Inclusion & environment
Recent improvements include staff using smaller rooms in the nursery to take children to meet their individual needs. For example, these rooms are used for staff to take children with special educational needs and/or disabilities when they need quiet times or to be physically active.
Children show excitement to play team games. For example, pre-school children smile with staff and their peers when they are asked by staff to take it in turns to count while their peers hide from them in the garden. Children crouch behind apparatus and excitedly anticipate when they will be found. The inspector observed the quality of education during activities, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this has on children's learning.
