Our ethos
Little Lions Nursery operates on the philosophy that "It takes a village to raise a child." This means they acknowledge that children begin nursery with diverse experiences and aim to support their growth by allowing them to explore and appreciate the world around them through the seven areas of learning. The nursery sees itself as a vital part of this "village" or community, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where both children and families feel valued and connected. They strive to offer new experiences, work collaboratively with other professionals for children with additional needs, establish daily routines that prepare children for school, foster a strong sense of community within the nursery, and engage in various activities like family fun days, charity fundraising, and local events. The nursery also prioritises strong partnerships with parents, offering regular meetings with key persons and co-curricular activities like weekly forest school and sports coaching, all aimed at the child's future success.

Inclusion & environment
Additional funding that some children receive is used effectively to increase staff to promote children's behaviour and safety.
The provider has divided the garden to provide very young children with their own enclosed play space that includes soft matting on the floor, which helps to promote their safety. However, staff do not fully implement the curriculum outdoors as effectively for all children, to help build on their learning.
Amazing place, the best staff. My son enjoy every single day being there!
