The Learning Tree Pre School Nursery, established in 1998, operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, all year round. Catering to children aged 0-4 years, the nursery received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on May 6, 2025.
Staff provide a warm welcome, helping children settle quickly and fostering strong bonds that contribute to a sense of security. The nursery offers a well-sequenced curriculum, designed by leaders, which provides enriching experiences tailored to children's interests.
This includes activities that help children understand diversity, such as visits to the local church to learn about different marriage ceremonies and explorations of various cultures and festivals. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive comprehensive support, with staff effectively making referrals and collaborating with external agencies.
Staff adapt their approach to individual needs, utilising communication methods like 'now and next' boards and visual aids. Outdoor play is an important part of the daily routine, allowing children to explore freely, develop balance and coordination, and gain physical skills that support their overall development and readiness for school.

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive the help and support they need to make good progress. Staff are competent in making referrals and work in partnership with external agencies. Staff try different methods to support children and adapt their approach to the child's individual needs, using communication methods like 'now and next' boards and visual aids.
During outdoor play, children have the freedom to explore and move confidently. Children develop balance and coordination, for example, when they walk across the tyres. Children gain an array of physical skills that support their overall development and readiness for school.
My child has struggled settling in to nurseries, childminders since a baby. But here he settled right in, he loves going. The staff are amazing, very experienced and just so loving. I would recommend it to anyone.
