The Little Ripley Day Nursery, a family-operated establishment since 1988, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in Birmingham and surrounding areas. With fifteen nurseries, the group prioritises a "home from home" setting, featuring bright rooms filled with age-appropriate activities and well-equipped outdoor play areas.
The nursery is dedicated to offering continuity of care through its experienced and qualified staff. The curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, ensuring that learning and development opportunities are integrated into daily play and activities, supporting children from babyhood through to pre-school.
The nursery prides itself on fostering independence and confidence in children, preparing them for their next educational steps. Mealtimes are a social and nutritious affair, with fresh meals prepared daily by dedicated cooks.
The nursery also maintains an open-door policy, encouraging parents to engage with staff and track their child's progress through a key worker system and an Interactive Learning Diary (ILD) that parents can access and contribute to, promoting a collaborative approach to each child's development.

My daughter attends this nursery and what a wonderful place it is! I couldn’t ask for a better place for her to be! Every single member of staff are just joy! My daughter loves it here and I also couldn’t recommend it enough. Millie and Vicky are a wonderful management team who will do anything they can to help you. Every single member of staff greet you with a smile and takes time to ask how I am or if we’ve had a nice weekend. It’s one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been in and in my opinion is worth every penny.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has recently graduated from Little Ripley and I cannot praise them enough. She has settled into school really well due in no small part to the work of the staff at this nursery. I have been particularly impressed with the breadth and depth of their curriculum as well as the excellent facilities. I have recommended the nursery to other parents and I know they too have had positive experiences.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has gone to this nursery since she was one. She started during Covid so I had to hand her over at the door which was difficult. The staff at the nursery always went out of their way to reassure and update me. I have found the setting to be warm and encouraging to all the children. The staff are amazing at making every child feel important. We actually moved out of area and I have still put my son into the nursery because it’s worth travelling purely for the fantastic staff.
Read on GoogleI am so happy I choose this nursery for my daughter. She went to 2 other nurseries before and I had endless problems with both of them. I thought Little Ripleys is last nursery I will give a go to, and I am so glad I did, as I never had any problems with this nursery. Teachers are such a lovely girls and my daughter doesnt scream when walks in like she used to do in other nurseries, shes always clean and properly fed. Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleMy little boy has been attending Little Ripley Day Nursery, Wood End Road for over 2 years and is leaving this year to go to primary school. Emma and the team have been incredible throughout, supporting our little one, encouraging him and us as parents, catering to our needs and just looking after our boy in a loving and nurturing way. I didn't think I would ever be able to trust a nursery with my children but they aren't just a nursery - they have become family to us.
