Little Ripley Day Nursery, established in 1988, is a family-operated group of fifteen nurseries across Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Great Barr, and Kingstanding. The nursery prioritises creating a warm, secure, and nurturing environment where children can flourish, offering a "home from home" setting with well-equipped rooms and spacious outdoor play areas.
They are dedicated to providing every child with the best possible start in life, supported by a team of experienced and qualified staff who ensure continuity of care. The nursery adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, integrating its curriculum into all activities to foster learning and development without pressure.
They aim for children, whether babies, toddlers, or pre-schoolers, to leave happy, caring, and successful. The daily routine balances structured activities with free play, promoting independence and confidence in readiness for school.
Nutritious meals are prepared fresh by a dedicated cook, and specialist staff offer additional sessions in French, cooking, and music.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders explain how the setting identifies and supports children, when necessary, with any potential gaps in their learning. They work closely with parents and external professionals when needed. The special educational needs coordinator supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Older children have access to a range of resources to support their physical skills, such as climbing frames, tricycles and obstacle courses. Staff introduce new mathematical concepts, language and promote physical skills when balancing building blocks outdoors.
A gem of a nursery in Sutton, all the staff are really friendly and greet you every morning with a really warm welcome which is lovely! Anya and leanne (management) are fantastic. The nursery is bright, clean and engaging for the children. Cooking classes for the kids on Friday which is great, children in preschool get (non compulsory) fun worksheets to do at home which is brilliant and really gets the kids prepped for starting mainstream school. I tried two other nurseries in the Sutton area prior to this setting, and this is by far the best of the three! Would definitely recommend.
Read on GoogleUndoubtedly the best nursery I could have picked for my daughter. She's been attending for almost a year and I couldn't have asked for any better. Leanne and Anya who run the nursery do an exceptional job. They've been so accommodating, always happy to help and nothing it to much trouble. Thank you.
Read on GoogleThe staff at Little Ripley have been secondary parents for my two children these past 7 years. Like any new parent, leaving your children in a Nursery setting can be an anxious time but I can wholeheartedly say that we could not have picked a better place. The way the staff have supported their development as children, encouraged them, increased their confidence or even just been their for a cuddle when things get too much has been fantastic. The effort they put into Christmas and graduation shows just represents how professional and hard working they really are and now that we are at the end of our Little Ripley journey we will really miss them all. We really could not recommend Little Ripley enough.
Read on GoogleWords cannot describe the level of excellence this nursery has, consistent outstanding ofsted results, but above this, I always felt that this nursery was a second home, an extension of our family. Every member of staff provides the best care and welcoming smiles, every day. It is clear that the priority at this nursery is the children. It is fabulous. Both my boys attended her and made friends and beautiful memories for life, thoroughly recommend.
Read on GoogleTaking my son to Little Ripley was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The staff are truly wonderful with him, he has advanced so much from being here and I always feel like he’s in super safe hands. I would always thoroughly recommend this nursery to anyone.
