The nursery offers an engaging curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage, focusing on key developmental areas such as Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Maths, Understanding the World, and Expressive Art and Design. The dedicated staff are passionate about fostering a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our ethos

The Nursery is a space where children are empowered. To think. To do. To create. To have their voices heard. Here they are respected as equals. They are given the freedom to explore and are encouraged to be inquisitive about the world around them. At The Nursery they learn about their own talents and are encouraged to develop their individuality. Our job as practitioners is to keep reminding them of just how amazing they are. And they can be anything they want to be. Learning through play and hands on experiences are the focus at The Nursery and all our resources, activities and the experiences we provide promote the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS). Play activities are carefully planned in accordance to the children’s interests, abilities and future development and children are closely observed to ensure the environment and its resources are appropriate to their needs. Throughout the baby room and nursery, children have opportunity to develop all their skills through exploration and investigation of a range of continuous provisions such as, sand and water, small world and construction toys, painting, modelling, creating, role play, books and various forms of technology. The structure of the day enables time for large and small group activities, individual play and free flow play that also extends to the outdoor area, allowing children to make choices whilst promoting independence, confidence and building friendships.
