The Oaks Day Nursery, registered in 2004, provides outstanding childcare for children aged 0-4 years. Open from Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays, sessions run from 7:30 am to 5:55 pm.
The nursery offers an exceptionally well-planned and well-resourced indoor and outdoor environment. Children thoroughly enjoy exploring the engaging woodland area, which is thoughtfully enhanced with resources to spark their imaginations.
Here, they can discover various imaginative elements and engage deeply by playing with mud, sticks, and leaves, connecting with nature and recalling prior knowledge from their favourite stories. The well-being of each child is paramount, with staff working tirelessly to ensure every child feels happy and secure.
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive exceptional support, with staff promptly seeking assistance from external agencies to ensure timely and appropriate help. Parents consistently praise the staff and managers for going "above and beyond" and for the wide range of learning opportunities available, as well as for how well transitions are managed.
