Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are swiftly identified. Staff collaborate closely with specialist services and parents, and as a result, children with SEND benefit from structured support and a consistent approach to their care.
Toddlers and older children have many opportunities to develop their physical skills, coordination and dexterity outdoors, as they navigate the obstacle course and wooden structures.
My son has been at this nursery for just over two years now, and I honestly can’t put into words how amazing the whole team has been. From the very beginning they have been so caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in his development. We have regular contact with his key worker, which makes such a difference and really reassures us as parents. As well as daily updates on his day when we collect him, and on the Parentzone app where they share pictures of what he's been up to throughout the day. They were especially supportive during a tricky stage with potty training, offering guidance, patience, and encouragement every step of the way. His speech has come on incredibly well for his age, and it’s clear how much time and attention they give to supporting communication and confidence. He’s also made lovely friendships, and being able to move through the different age rooms with many of the same children has provided fantastic consistency and stability for him. We feel so lucky to have found this nursery and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the whole team for everything you do!!
Read on GoogleA lovely, welcoming nursery. Friendly, knowledgeable staff team who were all engaged with the children during my visit. The staff team know their children and follow their interests, creating a variety of activities to progress their learning and development and creating confident, independent children. I would definitely recommend this nursery and I look forward to my next visit.
Read on GoogleMy son has been coming to Old Station since he was just 5 months old, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The staff are so kind, helpful, and reassuring — they really go above and beyond. My little one is always excited to go in and has learned so much along the way. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
Read on GoogleBoth my daughters are currently at The Old Station Nursery in Alcester, and they absolutely love it. My eldest has been there since she was 18 months and my youngest since she was 6 months. The staff are absolutely fantastic and literally can’t fault a thing! They have great days where you can go in and play with the kids and they had a lovely Father’s Day breakfast. The parent zone app is fabulous as well, it gets updated every day so you can see everything your children have been up to! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nursery with lots of different things to do, cooking etc!
