We’ve been really happy with The Orange Tree — as has my wife. The team are so accommodating, genuinely lovely people, and most importantly, our daughter absolutely loves it there. I know a few people locally have had issues with their nurseries, but we’ve had none of that here. They’ve been brilliant around funding and completely accommodating with dietary requirements too. It was a no-brainer to send our little boy there when it was his turn to start, and he’s settling in really well. Would highly recommend — lovely place, lovely staff who really care, and the new outdoor space is fantastic. Everything you could want in a nursery.

The other review is not accurate. Orange Tree Derby has not had an OFSTED review as it has been open less than 5 years and is still awaiting it. However they are a local chain and some of the other settings do have Outstanding ratings. I work in education and have no doubt that this setting will get Outstanding when they are inspected, this is from my experience of my daughter attending for the past 3 years. The staff go above and beyond to make her laugh, feel safe and enjoy life at this nursery.

I would not recommend this nursery. The staffs are really lazy, if the kids are inside the room they just ask children to sit quietly or paint , no other activity. If kids are outside then staff don't watch them and keep talking among themselves. bathroom are extremely smelly and no hygiene maintenance. moreover, they don't have any ofstead report on the internet and in the nursery walls and cars they have mention that they have outstanding report which is false. they ask the parents to provide good rating on the daynurseries website and if parents gives good review then this nursery staff will allow parents to enter the lucky draws. please avoid , bad experience..
