I love this nursery! As soon as I walked into the nursery for our show around/induction I knew that this was the nursery I wanted to send my little boy. I have since had a second child, and the staff were so supportive and helpful during my pregnancy and newborn stage. The staff are unbelievably polite, kind hearted and loving. They are accommodating and patient. I don’t think words could express how much my family love The Orange Tree Mickleover and all of the staff that are there. Thank you all so much for everything you have done, and continue to do for us all ❤️

I could not recommend this nursery anymore! The staff are incredible, all of them are excellent with children, communicating and safety. I chose this nursery specifically for its safeguarding & security - which was definitely the right decision. My child was so loved by the team, everyone knew my child’s name and would give us a hello and a big smile when walking past us on drop-offs & pickups. We received a full, detailed report everyday about what our child had eaten, how they’d slept as well as a good paragraph about what they had been up to. We also got this fed back to us on pickup. An absolutely fantastic nursery, with genuine staff that put the children’s happiness and safety above all else.

We started our journey with OT in 2022 with our first born. She started at 10 months and Frances was her key worker in Blossoms room - she’s absolutely fantastic. Putting your child in nursery is quite a difficult thing and Frances genuinely made our journey so much easier. She helped us all settle in let alone the baby! We’ve moved through rooms with Amy as a key worker who was also amazing for us, our daughter went through some changes in that room such as potty training and gaining a younger sibling and Amy was so supportive. We’re now in the room before pre school and we have Shannon as a key worker who has also been a significant part of our upbringing for our daughter. The logs are thorough, tells us exactly what she’s been up to and makes us smile whilst we’re at work. My son (now 1) has just joined OT and thankfully, we have Frances back in our little unit as his key worker! The people make the biggest difference for us and Frances, Amy and Shannon are the reason why we now have our 2 little ones in this nursery 😊 highly recommend and looking forward to the expansion of the nursery.

my children have both attended this nursery from the baby room, and have worked thier way around the whole nursery. all of the staff are fantastic and they are so supportive with everything. i have struggled with my sons behaviour and SEN, and the nursery worked so much with me and provided workshops on positive behaviour management. because of the orange tree, he is now thriving at school! my little girl is currently in the preschool unit at orange tree and she loves the staff so much she never wants to come home, and asks to go in to nursery even on the weekends! i cannot thank orange tree enough for thier support and love for my children and family!

I do not usually review places but low rating on Google is unfair given one negative experience reported with management so I decided to put my own review. My daughter has been going there full time for 2 years now and they look after her very well. Staff do listen and discuss any issues. I do not even live in Mickleover but I would choose it over any nearby nursery.
