Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are particularly well supported. The needs of children with SEND are carefully considered, and they are fully included alongside their peers. Staff work with external agencies to ensure specific needs are met and provide additional, targeted support, such as 'special time' activities.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy the wide range of activities available to them, indoors and outdoors. Staff support children well through modelling and engaging in play with them. This helps children develop positive attitudes to their learning as they learn to manage their own risks safely.

My son has been attending the Osterley de Lacey Day Nursery for almost a year now and I couldn’t be happier with the care and support my son receives at this nursery. From the moment we first visited, the staff have been welcoming, patient, and genuinely invested in creating a nurturing environment for every child. My son settled in so quickly, and it’s clear how comfortable and happy he feels there. All the teachers are very friendly and supportive but I am particularly impressed by how Amandeep has taken care of my son and developed a strong bond with him. She has taken the time to understand his needs and personality, and she keeps us updated with thoughtful communication about his day, progress, and all the little achievements that mean so much. She takes the time to talk things through with us, listens attentively, and offers thoughtful insights that show how well she understands our son. Knowing we can approach her at any time with questions or concerns gives us so much peace of mind. The nursery is clean, safe, and full of warm, positive energy. The activities are creative, well-planned, and always engaging! It truly feels like a second home for our child. We are so grateful for the love, care, and dedication the team shows every day. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their little one can learn, grow, and thrive.

My son started just before he turned 2 in March 2025. I was nervous to send him to nursery but the staff at Delacey are so reassuring and genuine. It truly is a home away from home. The settling period was difficult (he is a clingy baby) but the staff really worked with me to make it a smooth transition. He runs in and runs out happy every single day. Can’t recommend this nursery enough.

Cannot recommend this nursery enough. Both my baby and my 4yo joined at the same time and everyone was so very welcoming. Even though they had trouble settling in, the ladies were extremely patient and kind with them. On the second week my eldest was crying at pick up because she wanted to stay in nursery longer. 10/10

My 2 year old has settled in amazingly thanks to all the lovely and caring staff. Gurpreet in particular always goes out of her way to ensure my child is comfortable and fed! Being the fussier eater that she is I don’t know how they manage it. Very impressed!
