Inclusion & environment
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and for those who speak English as an additional language is a strength of the nursery. Staff swiftly identify children who need additional support and then work effectively with other professionals. Staff have a very good knowledge of strategies to support children. These strategies are extremely well thought out and tailored to children's needs. Managers focus their efforts to remove any barriers to learning. Intervention plans are monitored accurately and with detail. This contributes to the excellent progress children make.
Staff provide good opportunities for children to play and learn outside. Staff know and understand the benefits of outdoor play to promote children's physical and emotional well-being. Children access experiences with confidence, excitement and determination. However, older children are not always given play opportunities which help them to strengthen their large-muscle skills, such as climbing and jumping.
Twinkletotz is a fantastic nursery! It was the warmest and most welcoming nursery in the area when I was searching for nurseries, with very friendly and attentive teachers. The teachers go above and beyond to care for the little ones. My son has just finished nearly 4 years at this nursery and my daughter (still 2 years old) is still there and loves it! The staff are open, friendly and caring to parents needs. They give regular updates and if I ever had any queries, they are always always ready to help/accommodate where able to. The meals and snacks are great, very varied with lots of fruit and veg on the menu. Honestly, the best nursery you could ever want!
Read on GoogleMy daughter loves her time at the nursery and spending time playing with her friends. The staff are all very lovely and they provide regular feedback and photos, which is very reassuring. I am very impressed with Twinkle Totz Windmill Park Children's Centre. The best indication for me is when I see the smile my daughter gives to the team every time we arrive.
Read on GoogleTwinkletotz was a brilliant place for my son, He enjoys going every day, if it was opened in the weekend. At home he remembers a lot about teachers , his friends and miss them. He has learned to be social,, attentive and listening skills. As a parent they supported us to balance work and my son to flourish when he is growing.
Read on GoogleI don't normally write reviews but hey?! What a wonderful place TwinkleTots is?! What has made an overprotective mummy happy is the fact that they are always on top of their game. Parents are well and truly involved always kept up to date! The children come first here and it is so evident! It's clean, well equipped, lovely garden area! Tick tick tick! The food is amazing, I get told every detail of my little girls day, they take the kids on trips, and her vocabulary is now better than mine. "I am flabbergasted mummy!" Please open a school so she doesn't have to leave! Elaine & rest of Latimer family 🤗
