Outdoor space

Children satisfy their curiosities in a variety of spaces during their well-planned day. For example, in the bird hide, staff provide binoculars, reference books, and posters to help children to identify what they see. While in a wooded area, children balance on logs and dig in the earth to create a habitat for an imaginary troll. Staff also encourage children to take supervised age-appropriate risks during their play and explorations, such as climbing in trees and using tools.

This nursery is amazing. If you're looking for an education provision that embraces the outdoors then this is the one for you. Children are looked after incredibly well by staff and you clearly see progression in their development. The staff form positive appropriate relationships with the children and clearly all really enjoy their work. Children get to go outside into a wood regularly and learn camping skills (building fires, insect hunting, log and den building). Food is made from produce that is grown by the children at the nursery and menus are varied depending on the seasonal vegetables available.

The best nursery! We honestly could not fault the Wendy House one bit. Our son absolutely loves it here and comes home happy every day. We can see him really learning and growing there and we love how much time they spend outside.
