Children are encouraged to explore a well-organised environment and develop positive attitudes to learning, with activities tailored to their individual interests. Staff are skilled at providing age-appropriate challenges and promoting healthy lifestyles and independence.
Children enjoy diverse activities, from sensory play with sand and water to imaginative role-playing, and develop strong bonds with staff, feeling happy and secure. The nursery has a strong focus on inclusion, with staff learning words in children's home languages and offering dual-language resources.
The outdoor area provides ample opportunities for physical development and imaginative play, including a mud kitchen and various obstacles. Staff are adept at identifying and supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with parents and other professionals to ensure progress.

Inclusion & environment
Staff are swift to identify emerging needs in children. They liaise closely with parents and other professionals to seek the support needed to help these children make the best possible progress in their learning and development. Children with identified special educational needs and/or disabilities receive good support from staff. However, the range of resources and visual aids available to assist these children to engage and build on their concentration skills fully is currently limited.
Children enjoy using the outside area to build on their learning. They build on their physical skills as they climb over, under and through obstacles, play imaginatively in the 'mud kitchen' and negotiate on tricycles and scooters. Babies enjoy climbing up and sliding down the slide.
The nursery offers a great lot to all kids, wonderful and caring team make you and your little one feel at home. It took my son one day to settle in, he's making rapid progress and is a happy bunny every time I collect him. Great listening skills on the part of the whole team who pay attention to every concern you or your little ones might have, fantastic rapport with the team and a content child, well done The Willows!! My son is 3 and as a working mum we have had 3 childminders already and have attended another nursery in the area - the care received here is second to none, we're delighted.
Read on GoogleI am very pleased with Toad Hall Winnersh. My daughter has been attending since she was 9months old and they have taken extreme care of her. She is always happy to go to nursery and it just shows how wonderful the manager (Anna) and staff are to her and all the children they look after. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone.
