Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is effective in identifying and supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Plans are put into place quickly to ensure that children are making progress. The SENCo works well with outside agencies to provide ongoing support to staff, children and parents.

Outdoor space

Children get plenty of opportunities to explore their physical development in the garden, running, climbing, exploring the sandpit, and rolling hoops. Babies show confidence outside on the see-saw and learning to scoot, while the attached forest school provides further opportunities to explore nature.

The Winning Child Nursery is a gem. The staff are friendly and proffessional. They offer a morning, afternoon and all day sessions which is perfect for parents that work shifts. You can request to take your child in earlier or to stay later, this is very helpful. Our little one has been attending TWCN since January and she has excelled, ABC,123 she ia a pro. She is confident, singing and dancing all the time. Almost two years old and her speech is so clear. The educational programme is brilliant, I love Culture day, People that help us and best of all was meeting the Alpacas. Actually, best of all is knowing she is in safe hands. Thank you to all the staff at TWCN

My child has been attending this nursery since she was 8 months old, they have loved and cared for her alongside every milestone she has hit and have celebrated this with her. The staff at this nursery take time to learn about each child individually and will go above and beyond to help every family feel understood and supported.I Will always recommend this nursery to other parents :)

Called yesterday to book a viewing, the lady couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. My son woke up not well this morning and I called to reschedule .. the woman I spoke to who claims to be the manager was disgustingly rude and told me she’s too busy to talk to me and do her job. Absolutely vile woman. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. If that’s how she speaks to people when she’s asked to do her job I can only imagine how she speaks to the kids To add, she has just called me again with attitude and being extremely rude again, she has time to do all of this but not to reschedule an appointment it’s disgusting

This nursery is underrated. My child is now 10 but when she was younger, this nursery made a tremendous impact in her growth and transition out of selective mutism diagnosis. Every time we needed them to get involved in her therapy they did everything they could. She is now thriving and you can never tell she was ever in that position. I will forever be grateful for your support. This review is well overdue.
