Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff have recently started to use Makaton as a way to communicate with children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This is having a positive impact on children as they demonstrate that they are able to communicate their needs to staff. Leaders have established good relationships with parents and other professionals, accessing appropriate support from other agencies for children and families in a timely manner. Additional resources and extra staff allocation are used to support children's emotional well-being.

Outdoor space

The outdoor areas provide opportunities for children to develop their small and large movements. For example, children enjoy playing with sand, filling and emptying trucks and finding different resources to bury and dig out vehicles. Children also enjoy running and playing chase with members of staff.

Lovely nursery, our Son has been going here for nearly 2 months and had the best time! Staff very attentive, outdoor play space is huge for little ones, nursery is purpose built and secure. The amount of toys they have is brilliant, and the food the children eat is also excellent with less sugar and sweeties and more wholesome food. Staff have been genuinely engaged with our sons development, potty training etc Overall can’t recommend enough, couldn’t ask for more 5*
