My son has been attending the nursery for almost a year now. He is very happy, settled and looks forward to going here. The staff are lovely, welcoming and supportive. I felt very comfortable leaving my son there and he always comes back with a smile telling us what he did that day! The activities are great as well as updates via an app to see your child develop. I'd highly recommend to any parent!
Read on GoogleWell what can I say about The Young Ones! My daughter has been there for a year now, joining when she was two. She absolutely loves it there and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. During her time there, she has become more independent, confident and enjoys singing songs they have sung at nursery. She also loves that she can be creative in many ways at The Young Ones and surprises me with her work. The food and snacks they provide are great, all the way from breakfast to dinner - 5* rating for a reason. I thought toilet training will be hard, but they made it so easy that my daughter picked it up so quickly. We will be sad to leave The Young Ones, but I am happy that my daughter had such a great foundation and experience there.
Read on GoogleWe looked at many nurseries before choosing The Young Ones. We are very pleased with the care provided by the attentive staff. Our daughter has settled in quickly and looks forward to going and seeing all her friends there.
Read on GoogleI can't thank The Young Ones Nursery team enough for everything! We have been with the nursery for 6.5 years since Jan 2019 with both my children attending the nursery from 1 year old and my second graduating the nursery this week. They have been with us every step of the way, from being nervous parents about to send our little boy to nursery for the first time at only 1 year old, through to COVID and both of my children going off to school. They take great care with the children, every staff member wants to be there and they easily build strong relationships with each family due to the staff retention being so great. When my son started, he was very attached to me - contact sleeping and breastfeeding which was a challenge for some childcare settings but not The Young Ones! They assign a key person to each child and take great care to settle the children in to feel comfortable in the nursery which helped both my kids thrive. They tailor their approach to each child's needs which was the most important thing to me - after all, we just want our children to be happy and thriving at nursery. When it came to my daughter starting nursery, I was so much more relaxed knowing she will be well taken care of by the team who we have come to know and love over the years. Both my kids are/were ready for school by graduation time with all the learning and socialising they did with their Young Ones friends and teachers and my son had a very smooth transition. We also know many other families who have sent more than one child to this nursery which is a great testimonial in itself but to me the best testimonial of all is that my son is now 7 and still says he wishes he could be at the nursery and my daughter looks forward to going to nursery every single day and is sad to be leaving this week. I would whole-heartedly recommend The Young Ones nursery to other families and we will miss the nursery greatly! Thank you for everything you have done for our children ♡
Read on GoogleMy Son has been going to The Young Once since end of November 2024. When I saw him get off the breakfast table and walk by himself to the baby area, it was such a proud moment. He feels happy and at home there. This is the only nursery we have come across where the lovely staff has a big smile on their face at 8:00 am and same smile and enthusiasm at 6:00pm. This was so important to me. Kelly said to me you had the baby 9 months in your belly then a year of maternity and then you have to leave your baby with strangers, this nursery really gets it and gives our little humans all the love, confidence and care we wish for them. My little boy loves this place and when I ask him are you going to play with Carol. He has the biggest smile on his face and Carol is right, he can say her name now. I am so glad I visited this nursery and my little one is going to have amazing 4 years here.
