How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders have reviewed and improved the curriculum for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), with a focus on priorities for learning. Support for children SEND is good. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure that the right support for children is implemented to meet their needs. Staff have targeted plans for their learning, which incorporates advice received from external agencies. This helps children with SEND to make good progress from their starting points and supports them in readiness for their transition to school.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from plentiful opportunities to develop their physical skills. Staff support children to become confident in their coordination and control of their bodies. For instance, children confidently kick and throw balls; they climb and manoeuvre around outdoor climbing equipment to make their way down slides. Staff recognise and value these opportunities to help children take age-appropriate risks.

My son is currently 19 months old and attends Three Frogs Nursery. He loves it. The staff are fantastic, they are accommodating, warm, and genuinely passionate about working with children. You can really tell they enjoy what they do. The nursery is always clean, well-organised, and welcoming. I also really appreciate the regular feedback I receive about my son’s progress and development. They have a trip out to the library every week which is really cute. My daughter (his older sister) attended two other local nurseries, both of which were good, but in comparison, this one is definitely my favourite. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My daughter was extremely happy at Three Frogs. She was there for two years and we enjoyed the small, mixed aged setting after experiences with much larger nurseries. She adored all the staff and loved playing with the huge variety of toys, and heading out on adventures to the library and recreation ground that is just next to the hall. If you are looking for a small, family run and relaxed environment Three Frogs is definitely worth considering.
