Tiddlywinks Pre-School, located in Leyland, provides early years education and care for children, operating from within Leyland Methodist Infant School. Established in 1994 to cater to the demand for nursery places, the pre-school initially offered morning sessions.
Over time, as funding became more readily available and the need for childcare grew, Tiddlywinks expanded its services to operate throughout the full school day. In 2012, the current owner took over the management, leading to its registration as a limited company and re-registration with OFSTED.
The pre-school continually updates its facilities and staffing, notably adding an extra building in 2014 with local authority support to accommodate children from two years of age. A key strength of Tiddlywinks is its dedicated and experienced staff team, all of whom share a common ethos and possess strong qualifications in early childhood development, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
